Vegas Baby!

So I am here to post about Vegas. Surprise, surprise? Right? I was just thinking...hmm, maybe I shouldn't because well, either you were there and you already know all this or you weren't there and are thinking...STOP rubbing it in!

But I just had to share!! I can't keep it inside...it was too special, amazing and fun to not to! This was year 3 for me. Yes, I have been to Vegas the last 3 Julys...BUT this was the FIRST time there was an actual TpT Conference!

I arrived in Vegas on Tuesday. I did a combination of the Teachers Pay Teachers conference and a little I Teach K fun!

The I Teach K {and there is also I Teach 1st} is a fabulous experience.... this wasn't my first time and hopefully not my last. I highly recommend it - then you will be in town for the annual meet-up {yes, it is for followers and bloggers and it is AWESOME!!}

The meet up was Wednesday....and it was magical.

Here I am with my bestie Miss Kindergarten just before we headed down to the meet up.

And not only did I win one of the many prizes at the meet up...yes, that is right I WON! Also check out all the peeps I got to meet and hang out with!!!!

Starting top left - I am sure you know that is Cara Carroll from The Frist Grade Parade who I had never met before and boy is she TOO MUCH fun!  Then we have one of my sweet friends, Kristin from A Teeny Tiny Teacher...if you need to laugh go to her blog.

Bottom row- um, as if Deanna Jump needs an introduction. I have been lucky enough to meet her a few times and see her present many times. She is just as sweet and wonderful as you would imagine. Last is Rachelle from What the Teacher Wants- she is such an inspiration to me and so many others.

Ahhh.... can you tell? It was a GOOD night!!

And we can't forget this young lady:

Yep Kelley Dolling from The Teacher Idea Factory. I LOVE this girl and had met her in this same place just last year. We hit it off so quickly and I am happy to call her my friend.

Moving on.... I went to the NKOTB concert on Thursday night with some of my other blogging buddies!!

Me {my new obsession is animal print}, Vera from the Tutu Teacher, Melissa from First Grade Smiles, Deirdre from A Burst of First and Molly from Lucky to be in First.

Friday was the big Teachers Pay Teachers Day! I learned so much and ran into so many other blogging people who inspire me!

But the highlight that day was meeting Paul- founder of TpT! He made this whole thing possible for ALL of us!

That would be Aris from Sailing into 2nd, Paul {we love him}, ME, and Stephanie from Falling into First!

In fact, if you have been thinking about starting to sell on TpT but you aren't sure or you need help then email me! {crayonsandwhimsy@gmail.com}

Last picture! Stephanie and I got to meet Nikki from Melonheadz...another highlight :)

I could go on and on... I mean I was able to hang out with Traci from Dragonflies in First and Kerri and Lindsay from Teacher Bits and Bobs and yet no pictures to share with you....there's even more..... but I have kept you long enough.

I will just say, it is such a blast to be part of this and I am THANKFUL for the people I've met and the opportunities I've been offered.
