It's Friday...so I have Five!

Holy Smokes...

A. Who says that phrase?
B. Apparently I do.

I am just so wiped out I don't know what else to say....I guess that I am happy it is Friday.

So here we embark on our first Five for Friday in March.

1. First up I am taking it back to last weekend {which I still count as part of this week} when I got to meet up with some of my favorite bloggy friends at the Southern California Kindergarten Conference.
And I am keeping it to only one picture which was hard because it doesn't feature everyone....but these are several of the people I knew before this event and it was AWESOME to see them again..... Above you see Hadar from Miss Kindergarten {who shared this picture with me...thank you!}, Michelle from Apples and ABCs, Aris from Sailing into Second, Kelley from Teacher Idea Factory... and the one on the far right with frizzy hair...that's me. Sweet Kristin from A Teeny Tiny Teacher was also there, but didn't make this picture, but she cracks me up and had to get a shout out.

Ahh, there were so many other fun, talented and sweet bloggers who I met too! If you live in California I suggest you try to make it next year, especially if some of these people are presenting again!!

2. Dr. Seuss had a birthday this week and although my we didn't seem to to "Seuss Out" as much as some other years, we still celebrated him! And each of my little ones got their very own Dr. Seuss necklace!!

Um, they are bottle caps! Are you in love or what?? I am working on finding out where they are from and will add that little tidbit once I know because everyone needs to know the source of this cute fun!

3. I was at work until 9pm on Thursday. Yes, true story. And not my usual entry for this little linky, but come on....it's worth mentioning.

Myself and another crazy teacher buckled down in the computer lab to belt out as many report cards as possible....

Pizza break was at 7:00....when the poor delivery girl was calling us confused to why she was delivering to the elementary school at that hour!
Not the most exciting picture, but I guess I am calling it my "proof." And in case you were wondering...no they aren't done yet....and my deadline is Sunday. Holy smokes... there I go again!

4. There was a ton of painting going on in my room this week. I am all about doing what I call "old skool kindergarten" projects.... and this, my friends, is one of them... It is marble painting, string painting, and more.... just pure kindergarten....

And this is what we call "gadget painting"
All of this is for a little Eric Carle inspired artwork! More to come as the creating continues!

5. Come back on Sunday for a fun product swap. A few bloggers have paired up to share products and ideas. Here is your cheat sheet so you know who is paired up with who... but they'll be more information on Sunday.... I'm lucky to be with sweet Deirdre at A Burst of First!

P.S. There will be a giveaway....in fact, I need to make that plural....There will be giveaways!!

Thank you Doodlebugs for this fun linky!

See you all Sunday!
